The Director of Media Buying and Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational execution, optimization, and support of digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. You will manage the day-to-day operations of paid media initiatives while collaborating closely with internal media buyers, platform representatives, analytics partners, account teams, and leadership. Manage the operational execution of paid media campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, and other digital advertising channels.Monitor campaign pacing, budgets, and performance to identify optimization opportunities and operational risks.Manage the Media Operations team, providing a point of escalation and support for day-to-day operations.Prepare campaign performance reports and provide actionable insights to internal teams and stakeholders.Participate in campaign strategy discussions and performance reviews to support ongoing optimization efforts.Present campaign results, answer performance-related questions, and communicate recommendations clearly.Onboard new advertising accounts and ensure all required platform configurations are completed accurately.Configure billing profiles and payment methods across advertising platforms.Implement and maintain conversion tracking, pixels, and Google Tag Manager (GTM) configurations.Coordinate with third-party vendors and technology partners to resolve tracking, attribution, and reporting issues.Troubleshoot Google Analytics 4 (GA4) discrepancies and assist with reporting accuracy.Support dashboard integrations and marketing reporting platforms through vendor coordination and issue resolution.Manage relationships with advertising platform representatives to stay informed of platform updates, beta opportunities, and best practices.Process, reconcile, and submit advertising platform invoices while coordinating with the finance team.Maintain organized documentation of media operations processes and platform configurations.Oversee media operations workflows, priorities, and team deliverables to ensure projects remain on schedule.Support the day-to-day execution of media buyers by removing operational roadblocks and ensuring platform readiness.Coordinate recurring department meetings, office hours, and operational planning sessions.Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, reporting, and operational efficiencies.Stay current on emerging advertising technologies, platform updates, and industry trends through ongoing professional development.
