Our client, a digital marketing agency, is looking for a Full-Time Director of Paid Media to join their Phoenix, Arizona team! This is a hybrid onsite / remote role (onsite Tuesday - Thursday, remote Monday + Friday).
The Director of Paid Media will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10+ paid media strategists and managers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Own the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube TV, and emerging channels.
- Serve as the agency's paid media subject matter expert, staying ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and advertising innovations.
- Develop and implemen data-driven paid media strategies that deliver measurable ROI and business growth for clients.
- Represent the paid media department in executive-level client meetings, presentations, and new business pitches.
- Partner with sales teams to support client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Manage departmental operations, including budgeting, forecasting, staffing, resource allocation, and performance oversight.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and best practices to increase campaign efficiency, scalability, and overall team effectiveness.
The Director of Paid Media has:
- 5+ years of proven leadership experience managing high-performing paid media teams within a digital marketing agency or similar environment.
- Deep expertise in paid search, paid social, programmatic advertising, and digital media strategy.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, and other leading advertising platforms.
- Demonstrated success in scaling paid media programs and leading teams through growth and change.
- Google Ads and/or Microsoft (Bing) Advertising certifications preferred.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation, continuous learning, and professional development.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while balancing client success, team leadership, and business objectives.
