Director of Sales & Marketing

· This senior leadership role is ideal for a results-driven hospitality professional who is passionate about revenue growth, strategic market positioning, brand visibility, and team leadership · This role partners closely with the hotel leadership team and will be responsible for developing and executing revenue-driving sales & marketing strategies while leading a high-performing team · The successful candidate will lead all sales and marketing efforts across multiple revenue streams with primary focus on group room sales, increasing market visibility to business transient segment, revenue maximization of transient rooms, and group & social catering sales, while building strong community partnerships and elevating the hotel’s market presence · Managing, directing and developing the property sales team, leading and chairing weekly meetings to include Group & Catering Pace, RevMAX, BEO, Marketing & Social Media 5+ years of progressive hotel sales & marketing leadership experience Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share Strong understanding of: Market segmentation Group pace and production Transient strategy Catering/event sales Revenue management principles Digital marketing & social media Proficiency with hotel systems such as CRM, PMS, and sales/catering software Strong financial acumen and analytical skills Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities Ability to inspire, coach, and lead a high-performing team Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred (or equivalent experience)
