Location: Austin, Texas Our Marketing team is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Director to drive growth of our brand through our paid and earned channels. In This Role • Develop strategic brand awareness initiatives within public relations, social media, and advertising channels by partnering with Vice President of Marketing and other key stakeholders • Work closely with external PR and media agencies to facilitate business goals and objectives; optimizing, pivoting, and providing guidance on marketing initiatives and brand messaging when necessary • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, design influencers, media professionals, and other industry influences to enhance brand presence and elevate overall engagement • Create and implement demand-driving strategies to accelerate growth in customer applications and revenue across all customer segments • Partner interdepartmentally with Customer Experience team to develop integrated marketing plans and go-to-market strategies that deliver on business goals and KPIs • Collaborate cross departmentally with Sales, Product Development, Creative Services, Merchandising, Art Studio, Operations and People and Culture to identify and drive growth opportunities that achieve business goals • Work closely with external PR and media agencies to facilitate business goals and objectives; optimizing, pivoting, and providing guidance on marketing initiatives and brand messaging when necessary • Maintain program dashboards by closely monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on KPIs; making recommendations and developing new programs or initiatives as needed • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, design influencers, media professionals, and other industry influences to enhance brand presence and elevate overall engagement • Manage and mentor a high-performing team; overseeing projects, programs and channels to ensure overall alignment with company goals and expectations • Conduct regular one-on-one development check-ins to set and track employee goals and facilitate individual growth • Own and manage P&L and budget allocations to ensure financial accountability and strategic investments • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive landscape to foster innovation and ensure Four Hands remains at the forefront of the market • Other duties as assigned by Management • Uphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team: • Be open and honest • Reach for excellence • Act with responsibility • Value the whole person • Enjoy the journey The Ideal Person • Minimum 15 year’s experience in marketing, focusing on traditional and digital advertising, growth marketing, social media and public relations • Strong blend of experience managing public relations and advertising programs held to full funnel KPIs • Bachelor’s and/or Masters degree in marketing or equivalent experience in a relevant field • Proven success leading growth-oriented marketing programs with exceptional relationships and glowing references • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with expertise in developing marketing strategies and performance measurement. • Strong leadership and team mentorship abilities • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office suite • Expert understanding of advertising, social media and PR principles along with marketing analytics and ability to track program performance • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills within the marketing and cross-departmental teams • Strong organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility and dependability • Excellent at managing schedules and deadlines ensuring work product meets or exceeds brand standards • Exceptional at identifying issues and developing effective solutions before they escalate
