E-commerce Social Media Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and organized E-commerce Social Media Coordinator to support their marketing efforts in Durham. This role will assist in the day-to-day management of social media channels, helping to build brand awareness, engage with customers, and drive traffic to our e-commerce store. You will work closely with the Social Media Manager to create engaging content, monitor online conversations, and contribute to the overall social media strategy. This hybrid position offers a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, providing a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the creation, curation, and scheduling of social media content across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok).Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, responding to inquiries and engaging with the community in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.Support the development of social media campaigns and promotions aligned with e-commerce objectives.Track social media performance metrics and assist in generating reports on key indicators.Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant hashtags to inform content strategy.Collaborate with the creative team to source or create visual assets for social media posts.Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience.0-2 years of experience in social media management or coordination, preferably with an interest in e-commerce.Familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices.Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a hybrid work setting.Benefits
