Position: Ecomm Specialist Location: OH-Akron-44306 Full / Part Time The E-commerce Marketplace Specialist will own the day-to-day management and optimization of our online marketplace platforms (Amazon, eBay, and Walmart) to drive sales growth, improve user experience, and foster long-term brand loyalty in alignment with the multi-channel ecosystem. Through a keen understanding of digital marketing principles, data analytics, and consumer behavior, our E-Commerce Marketplace Specialist will ensure that Wheeler Ship can effectively compete in the dynamic online marketplace environment. As an E-commerce Marketing Specialist at Wheeler Ship, you will get to do more than just monitor sales of our products across marketplaces. More specifically, you’ll get to: Marketplace content strategy and management • Oversee day-to-day marketplace activity and account administration • Manage, modify, and optimize marketplace product listings in cooperation with the Product Catalog Specialists, including images, descriptions, metadata, tags, and categorization in accordance with platform-specific best practices for improved visibility and performance • Ensure consistency between marketplace listings and inventories and our native branded website • Oversee product and collection launches, coordinating content updates and merchandising strategies to increase conversion and order value • Devise, implement, and optimize branded marketplace storefronts based on platform-specific best practices • Cultivate standards, systems and best practices for marketplace content creation and maintenance, including inventory and listing syncing • Possess a comprehensive understanding of account-specific SEO best practices • Partner with SEO team to review and edit site content and develop/implement strategy Digital merchandising and marketing • Help to deliver exceptional omnichannel customer experiences across the e-commerce ecosystem • Support brand stewardship efforts to ensure that marketplace assets consistently reflect Wheeler Ship’s brand tone, voice, and values, and ensure a seamless customer experience across online platforms • Support digital merchandising efforts to improve customer journey, especially as it relates to kitting, bundles, upsells, cross-sells, and related products • Contribute to merchandising discussions with the SEO/CRO teams and support the implementation of plans • Support the development and execution of on-platform ad campaigns tailored to enhance user engagement and conversion rates • Provide real-time feedback to development, SEO, CRO, and marketing teams to optimize and improve the customer journey Performance analysis and optimization • Monitor key performance indicators such as traffic, sales, conversion rates, and customer retention to measure campaign success • Analyze data and metrics to understand consumer behavior and sales trends, leveraging this information to refine marketing strategies and promotional campaigns • Use spreadsheets in addition to web analytics to stay organized and monitor changes in product sales and identify opportunities for improvement • Evolve and/or establish marketing strategies based on the review of business analytics, including Google Analytics • Possess a strong knowledge of the e-commerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends Collaboration • Work with various teams, such as product management, customer experience, marketing and sales, and IT to ensure brand messaging and goals are aligned, and content is updated across assigned platforms Administration • Multi-task, prioritize, and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail.
