Other benefits include tuition remission for employee, spouse, and employee’s dependent children under the age of 25 (this does not include the last two year of the Pharm D program or the JD), twenty days of vacation and twenty days of paid medical leave per year.Pay Band:Job Summary:The Executive Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy oversees strategic marketing, manages the brand, and leads the team and processes that drive growth in essential functions of the University. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, digital engagement and communication with external constituents, brand management, executive level communication, partnership with enrollment management to reach targets, partnership with Advancement to reach fundraising goals, crisis communication, vendor coordination, and internal communication standards and support.This position may be considered for a hybrid work environment. Some evenings and weekends are required.Scope:The Executive Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy designs and executes strategies to raise awareness of the University brand, enhance its reputation, and increase constituent engagement with the goals of reaching student enrollment targets and gaining the support of alumni and friends. The Executive Director works closely with University leadership to align strategies, tactics and messaging with the University’s strategic plan and objectives.In coordination with supervisor, liaison with the President and the President’s office to execute strategies for executive communicationOversee integrated brand strategy and messaging that will influence and inspire target audiencesPartner with Enrollment Management to strategize and execute plans to reach enrollment goals, including the coordination of media buys and advertisingPartner with Advancement to strategize and execute plans to reach fundraising goals, engagement goals, involve volunteers, and recognize donorsDevelop and implement marketing strategies, programs and projects for the University and various departments, offices and entities within the University; supervise staff who liaison with University unitsWork with media and manage media relations for increased visibility and enhanced reputation of the UniversityProvide special event supportIdentify, oversee and evaluate digital and social media staff, strategies, and tacticsDevelop and direct the web services, photography and multimedia staff; provide strategic oversight for the University’s website design and performanceOversee graphic design staff projectsDevelop, write and edit written material for print and electronic publicationOversee department’s management of projects with outside vendors for print publications and advertising for all University entitiesPlan and direct emergency and crisis communications with external officials, University officials and staffPlan and manage the office budgetCreate and/or approve policies, procedures and precedents and solve intricate problems in light of the impact the solution may have on the entire organizationDevelop and maintain ongoing relationships involving difficult and formal negotiationsRegularly communicate with persons of importance, obtain the cooperation of others, and handle delicate relationships and complex situations with integrity and confidentialitySupervise and develop marketing and communications staffRequired Skills:Knowledge of emerging digital technologies and their potential uses for marketing and communicationsUnderstanding of data and analytics in informing…
