It's critical you be excellent on the phone, gaining rapport, and having a thorough understanding of what qualifies to be an eligible claim. And then also being very ambitious with following up with prospective clients until they sign the retainer. Having worked on the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund case before would be extremely helpful as there are many complexities and factors in the eligibility of the case.
