Experienced Automotive Service Advisor

We are looking for an automotive service writer to join our team and become one of the family. Experience as a service writer is highly desired but not absolutely necessary. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet customers promptly (either in person or on the phone) Build customer relationships and ensure satisfaction through understanding their needs Serve as the primary point of contact for all automotive service and repair matters Interpret customer needs for the mechanics Understand customers’ problems and arrange for appropriate service Prioritize required services, and offer options Set and manage the expectations of the service for both the customers and mechanics Continuously keep the customer updated on repair needs and completion times Understand and be able to describe all warranties, advertising and promotion of products and services Maintain a clean and safe work and customer area Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended period of time including standing, bending and squatting Position Criteria: Strong work ethic, independently motivated to produce results with limited influence from others Hard worker, someone who works diligently to get tasks done and demonstrates personal characteristics such as responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication and team work Ability to read, understand and follow procedures and guidelines Basic Qualifications: Exemplary customer service skills are a must Verifiable customer service performance record required Basic Knowledge of automobiles Positive Attitude Valid driver’s license Benefits: Competitive Wage Health Insurance Simple IRA Paid Vacation M-F work schedule Personal time / Sick days Employee Discounts
