Position Summary
Bedrock Digital Marketing is seeking an experienced and highly organized Paid Media Manager to manage, optimize, and report on approximately 50 client accounts across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
This person will be responsible for campaign strategy, account setup, conversion tracking, budget management, ongoing optimization, lead-quality analysis, and performance reporting. The Paid Media Manager must be able to manage a high-volume portfolio without allowing campaigns, budgets, leads, or client requests to be overlooked.
This is a results-driven position for someone who understands that launching campaigns is only the beginning. Success requires consistent monitoring, accurate tracking, thoughtful optimization, and clear documentation.
Primary Objective
Ensure every assigned advertising account is:
Properly structured and launched.Tracking conversions accurately.Spending within its approved budget.Reviewed and optimized consistently.Producing the best possible results based on the client’s goals.Supported by accurate reporting and documentation.Scope of Work1. Account Management
Manage approximately 50 active client accounts across Google Ads and Meta Ads.Maintain an accurate master list of all campaigns, budgets, goals, and account statuses.Organize accounts by priority, performance, budget, and urgency.Ensure no account goes unmonitored or exceeds its approved budget.Document all major changes, tests, problems, and performance decisions.Complete assigned launches, optimizations, reports, and client requests on time.Immediately report access problems, billing issues, disapproved ads, tracking failures, or account suspensions.2. Google Ads Management
Build and manage Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube, and remarketing campaigns when appropriate.Conduct keyword, audience, competitor, and market research.Create organized campaign and ad-group structures.Write and test headlines, descriptions, extensions, and offers.Manage match types, negative keywords, bidding strategies, locations, devices, schedules, and budgets.Review search terms and remove irrelevant traffic.Monitor impression share, quality scores, conversion rates, cost per lead, and wasted spend.Optimize campaigns based on actual conversion performance and lead quality.Follow Google Ads policies and resolve disapprovals when possible.3. Meta Ads Management
Build and manage Facebook and Instagram campaigns.Create campaigns for leads, messages, website conversions, awareness, traffic, and remarketing when appropriate.Develop audience strategies based on location, demographics, interests, behaviors, customer lists, and website activity.Test creative formats, messaging, offers, audiences, placements, and campaign structures.Monitor cost per lead, cost per message, conversion rate, frequency, reach, and creative fatigue.Pause or replace underperforming advertisements.Coordinate with the creative team to request new graphics, videos, copy, or landing-page changes.Follow Meta advertising policies and address rejected advertisements or account restrictions.4. Campaign Launches
Review the client’s signed scope of work, goals, target audience, service area, offer, and budget.Confirm that all required account access and assets have been received.Complete campaign research and strategy before launch.Verify links, phone numbers, forms, locations, copy, creative, and tracking.Complete a final quality-control review before publishing.Launch approved campaigns within the agency’s required timeline.Monitor new campaigns closely after launch to identify immediate problems.5. Tracking and Technical Setup
Install or verify Meta Pixel, Conversions API, Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads conversion tracking, call tracking, and form tracking when applicable.Test every conversion action before campaigns launch.Confirm that leads are being delivered to the correct email, CRM, or notification system.Troubleshoot inaccurate, duplicated, or missing conversions.Maintain clear documentation of tracking setups.Coordinate with the web development team when landing-page or website changes are required.6. Budget and Performance Management
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly advertising spend.Ensure campaigns remain within approved client budgets.Identify underspending, overspending, and budget-pacing issues.Allocate budgets based on campaign priorities and performance.Avoid making major budget changes without authorization.Monitor cost per lead, cost per acquisition, return on ad spend, conversion rate, and lead volume.Recommend budget increases only when supported by performance data.Escalate performance concerns before they become serious client issues.7. Optimization and Testing
Review every account according to an established optimization schedule.Prioritize accounts based on spend, urgency, performance changes, and business impact.Test one meaningful variable at a time when possible.Maintain records of tests, results, and conclusions.Use performance data to improve targeting, creative, copy, bidding, keywords, and landing pages.Avoid unnecessary changes that prevent campaigns from collecting useful data.Create recovery plans for underperforming accounts.Identify when poor performance is being caused by the offer, creative, landing page, sales follow-up, budget, or market conditions.8. Lead Quality and Client Results
Evaluate more than the number of leads generated.Work with account managers to understand lead quality and sales outcomes.Identify spam, duplicate, unqualified, or irrelevant leads.Adjust targeting and campaigns based on client feedback.Document whether leads are being contacted quickly and consistently.Separate advertising problems from client-side sales or follow-up problems.Provide realistic recommendations based on available data.9. Reporting and Communication
Prepare accurate monthly performance reports.Explain results in clear business language.Report wins, concerns, actions taken, and next steps.Provide account managers with campaign updates before client meetings.Respond promptly to internal questions regarding campaign performance.Never promise specific results that cannot be guaranteed.Communicate urgent account issues immediately.Participate in weekly production and performance meetings.Account-Management System
Because this position manages approximately 50 accounts, the Paid Media Manager must follow a structured review system:
High-spend, newly launched, or at-risk accounts must receive priority monitoring.Every account must have a documented optimization schedule.New campaigns must be reviewed closely during the initial launch period.Budget pacing and major alerts must be checked consistently.Every account must receive a complete monthly performance review.Major changes must be documented.No campaign may remain unattended because of workload or poor organization.Performance Metrics
Performance will be evaluated based on:
Cost per lead and cost per acquisition.Lead volume and lead quality.Conversion rate.Return on ad spend when revenue data is available.Budget accuracy and pacing.Reduction of wasted advertising spend.Campaign launch accuracy and timeliness.Conversion-tracking accuracy.Account growth and client retention.Response time to performance or billing problems.Completion of scheduled account reviews.Accuracy of reports and documentation.Number of preventable mistakes or overlooked accounts.Required Qualifications
At least 2–3 years of hands-on Google Ads and Meta Ads experience.Proven experience managing multiple advertising accounts simultaneously.Strong knowledge of Google Ads Manager and Meta Business Manager.Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.Understanding of Meta Pixel, Conversions API, and conversion tracking.Ability to analyze campaign data and make informed decisions.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume agency environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Google Ads certifications are preferred.Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are preferred.Previous agency experience is strongly preferred.Ideal Candidate
