Farmers Market Manager

Overview of the position: The Market Manager helps develop the farmers market with the NFM Board of Directors. The Market Manager independently plans, operates, and delegates activities to volunteers to fulfill the functions of the weekly farmers market. Desired qualifications: The Neskowin Farmers Market Manager is the primary face and leader for the Neskowin Farmers Market. While not requirements, relevant experience and familiarity with the following are helpful: Event planning: \\--Event publicity and promotion \\--Volunteer recruitment \\--Volunteer coordination Project management: \\--Scheduling (vendors, musicians, and community booth) \\--Producing reports \\--Vendor recruitment and coordination \\--Data tracking and collection Customer service: \\--Booth staffing: merchandise sales, operating EBT machine, providing information \\--Communication with vendors and customers Technology skills: \\--Creation of marketing materials \\--Ability to track and input data and produce reports \\--Social media engagement \\--Familiarity with Google Drive, gmail, and Facebook a plus Physical requirements: The manager is responsible for setting up and breaking down the market booth. Vehicle requirement: The market manager is responsible for transporting the market tent, signage, and other market supplies to the market site each week.
