**University of Idaho Financial Technician III** **Location:** Moscow **Division/College:** University Advancement (Div) **Employee Category:** Classified **Pay Range:** $18.97 per hour or higher depending on education and experience **Full/Part Time:** Full Time **Position Summary:** This position provides fiscal support for the office of Alumni Relations, Advancement Services and the Vice President for Advancement. The Financial Technician III will perform a variety of complex and high-volume financial operations in support of the division with a high degree of accuracy. **Minimum Qualifications:** * 1 year of experience providing financial support in support of others * Demonstrated experience analyzing information, identifying problems, defining alternatives and developing recommendations for management/administrators * Experience using computer software and applications for researching and compiling financial information, preparing summaries and reports, and using personal computers to enter, retrieve and edit financial data **Preferred Qualifications:** * Associates or bachelors degree in business or related field * 5 years of experience providing financial support * Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality while managing highly sensitive documents and information * Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills * Familiarity with University of Idaho policies, business procedures and organizational structure * Experience using database and software programs such as Banner, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) For 1st consideration, please apply by March 14, 2022. **Background Check:** Applicants who are selected as final possible candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check.
