Role Description

The Freelance Videographer is a one day, on site contract role. This role is footage capture only, no editing or post production. The Videographer will run camera on set and direct the client through the shoot (blocking, delivery, performance) to ensure the footage captured aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The client is a regular business owner, not a professional on camera talent, so the Videographer needs to be able to put them at ease and coach a natural, confident delivery. Raw footage is handed off to Advanced Marketers' internal team for editing after the shoot. If this shoot goes well, there is potential for ongoing recruitment for future shoots.

Qualifications

Strong video production skills, specifically shooting and running a set independently.Proficiency in camera operation and working confidently with various camera systems.Demonstrated ability in shooting video for marketing, social media, and branded content.Comfortable directing everyday business clients on camera, coaching delivery and performance in real time.Portfolio showcasing previous video work in commercial, marketing, or agency environments.Excellent time management, organization, and on set communication skills.Ability to work on site in Sacramento, CA for a single day shoot.Relevant education or training in film, media production, or a related field is a plus.Experience in digital marketing or working with creative/marketing teams is beneficial.Compensation: $250 to $300 for the day, based on experience, with potential for future shoots based on performance.

Pay: $250.00 - $300.00 per day
