Front of House Manager

3 Monkeys Bar & Grill is hiring a Front of House Manager to join our team. Responsibilities · Managing performance of front of house staff, including performance evaluations, training, discipline, conducting quarterly meetings · Employee schedules · Hiring and training employees · Acting as the liaison between employees and owners/management · Ensuring that all of our guests are receiving great customer service · Maintain compliance with all employment policies · Delegation of tasks and ensure all assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner · Ability to step into every role in the event of staff shortage · Advertising/marketing- ideas to promote sales & management of social media accounts · Plan and organize events · Able to work extended hours as per business needs · Managing reservations, customer reviews and email correspondence · Assist with managing inventory on hand and procurement Requirements · Great communicator, detail oriented and organized with a sense of urgency · Passionate about the restaurant industry · Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment · Competent problem solver and decision maker · Ability to delegate tasks and follow up · Must have open availability- weekends, nights and holidays · Proficient knowledge of computers- point of sale & scheduling software, Excel and Word · High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred · 1+ years management or supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant · 2+ years serving and or bartending experience · At least 21 years of age Compensation & Benefits · A competitive base salary · Employee meals, one per shift at no charge · Dining discounts · Paid vacation · Health insurance options available after 90 days · Tips if working bar or serving shifts · Great experience and knowledge to learn all restaurant operations
