Front Office Assistant/Legal Receptionist

Our small, well established law firm located in Jonesboro (about 20 miles south of Atlanta) is looking to hire a Front Office Assistant/Legal Receptionist to start as soon as possible. This position is full-time with working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. REQUIREMENTS \\- Ability to anticipate the needs of the office, multitask, and troubleshoot issues as they arise \\- Must have superior verbal and written communication skills, be highly self- motivated, and very detail-oriented \\- Must possess excellent organizational skills \\- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Internet \\- Must be able to operate general office equipment \\- Must be able to type 50+ WPM \\- Must live within reasonably close proximity to the office RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES \\- Answer/screen phone calls, transfer calls, take down messages, and forward emails \\- Obtain information from prospective clients and input into intake database \\- Greet clients/visitors as they arrive to the office \\- Maintain and set-up conference room \\- Confirm appointments on office calendar \\- Market the services of Skibiel Law by using social media platforms and traditional advertising outlets \\- Manage, sort, and distribute incoming mail and other communications \\- Run office errands (e.g., post office, bank, other places as needed) \\- Summarize medical records, as needed \\- Accept other administrative tasks as needed to assist the team and ensure the firm runs smoothly PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS \\- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) speaking strongly preferred, but not required \\- Prior legal experience preferred, but not required \\- Prior marketing experience preferred \\- Notary Public REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION \\- High School Diploma or GED \\- A minimum of 1-year work experience in an office setting \\- Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered HOURS 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday) Salary commensurate with experience
