The role

This is a standalone role. You handle all accounting functions for the company, working directly with the owners and employees.

What you will do

Day to day

Monthly client billing, about 100 invoices a month
Accounts payable and receivable, including collections
Payroll twice a month
Bank reconciliations and daily banking
Co-op advertising submissions. Industry specific, we will teach you

Ownership

Monthly financial statements
Cash flow and budgeting
Financial analysis for the board
Tax filings with our outside CPA
Banking relationships

What we are looking for

Required

Running a full set of books, not one piece of them
Financial statements
QuickBooks
Strong Excel

Helpful

Small company experience
Full-cycle payroll
Explaining financials to non-accountants
Accounting degree (or equivalent experience)

No CPA, public accounting or advertising background required.

Pay and benefits
