The Development & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing donor relations, fundraising initiatives, and marketing efforts at WACCS. Key Responsibilities: Donor Relations & Fundraising • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors to ensure engagement and retention • Oversee individual giving campaigns, including direct mail, online fundraising, and donor appreciation efforts • Manage donor acknowledgments and tracking in CRM system (e.g., Bloomerang) • Assist in grant writing and reporting in collaboration with the Executive Director • Research new funding opportunities to sustain and expand WACCS programs Marketing & Communications • Develop and manage a social media strategy to engage donors and the community. Events & Campaigns • Assist with planning and coordination of fundraising events, donor receptions, and outreach campaigns • Lead major fundraising efforts including the annual Holiday appeal • Support season community engagement events as needed Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience preferred • At least 2 years of experience in donor relations, outreach, volunteer coordination, or event management.
