Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Creative Strategist - Performance Ads to drive the creative strategy and testing discipline that fuels our paid acquisition growth. This is not a media-buying role - it’s a creative leadership role focused on the psychology of performance advertising: angles, hooks, formats, personas, briefs, and scripts.The ideal candidate is a digital-native creative strategist who has developed winning ad concepts on Meta and YouTube. They understand the direct-response levers that drive performance and can lead the creative testing roadmap while scripting, briefing, and iterating ads that scale.This role requires both hands-on creative ability (scripting and writing ads, building briefs, reviewing edits) and leadership experience (shaping the roadmap, mentoring junior creative strategists, and guiding agency/production partners).Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the creative lever for paid social and video performance marketing.Design and lead the testing roadmap across hooks, angles, formats, and audiences.Provide senior-level feedback on briefs, scripts, and assets to ensure alignment with performance goals.Translate trends in performance creative into actionable concepts for N&T.Partner with the acquisition manager and media buyers to align creative with targeting strategy.Scripting & BriefingWrite scripts, hooks, and headlines for Meta, YouTube, and TikTok ads.Build clear, performance-oriented creative briefs for designers, editors, and UGC creators.Review and refine copy, concepts, and edits to maximize clarity, impact, and conversion.Creative Development & TestingDirect production of ad assets (static, video, UGC, motion graphics) with performance outcomes in mind.Maintain a steady pipeline of creative concepts to systematically test and scale.Analyze performance data and apply insights to improve creative iterations.Champion a culture of structured experimentation and disciplined creative testing.Qualifications6–10+ years in performance creative strategy, with proven success on Meta and YouTube.Strong portfolio of ads that demonstrate direct-response success (angles, hooks, scripts, formats).Hands-on experience scripting/writing performance ads and leading creative briefs.Experience working with DTC, beauty, skincare, or consumer lifestyle brands strongly preferred.Familiarity with e-commerce funnels, customer acquisition, and retention dynamics.Demonstrated ability to lead creative testing roadmaps and frameworks.Experience mentoring or leading creative pods/teams a plus.Skilled at balancing creative instinct with performance data.Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset and passion for scaling high-growth brands.How to ApplyPlease submit your resume which includes a link to a portfolio or case studies of performance ads you’ve scripted, written, or directed (Meta, YouTube, TikTok).#PerformanceAds #CreativeStrategy #PaidSocial #MetaAds #YouTubeAds #DigitalMarketing #Ecommerce #BeautyIndustry #CleanBeauty #GrowthMarketingEmployer & LocationLocation: Remote – Priority given to candidates in the U.S. (EST or CST preferred)Compensation: $120K – $140K annually, determined based on experience, skills, and geographic location.Employment TypeFull-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
