The General Manager, through administrative as well as on-the-floor involvement, serves as the leader of both the FOH and BOH teams. As a leader in the space, the General Manager is expected to participate in regular coaching, conduct one-on-one meetings, and give guided feedback to aid in the professional growth of all employees while keeping the café standards and high level of quality. * Conduct bi-weekly one-on-ones with Shift Leads and quarterly one-on0ones with individual contributors, in addition to planning and reviewing compensation actions. * In concert with the BOH team, the General Manager estimates food and beverage costs for new/existing menu items. * Responsible for maintaining all café equipment through preventive maintenance and cleaning.
