Player Services and Promotion/EventsEntertainment activities of the property marketing departments at the Gold Dust West propertiesDevelop annual marketing strategies and monthly/quarterly program plansAnalyze program performance to evaluate marketing initiatives and the relationship to key business indicators and competitor activitiesCreate, approve and manage marketing and related departmental budgets and expenditures for all regional properties--this may be performed directly or indirectly through direct and dotted line reportsReview market analysis to determine customer needs and volume/business potentialManage/develop and monitor marketing staff performance and adherence to establish policies and proceduresEnsure communication mechanisms are in place for all employeesAssist property management staff with special project, events and promotions (as business dictates)Serve as key property liaison for all marketing-related activitiesServe as key liaison with department vendors and external agenciesResolve any problems or perceived internal/external guest inconveniencesDirect supervision for Reno Marketing support staffDotted-Line supervision of GDW Elko, and Carson City Marketing personnel and related activitiesSkills, Education and Other Requirements:Must be fluent in EnglishBachelor's degree with a concentration in Marketing or related field or Equivalent Work Experience may be substituted for a degree3-5 years of Supervisory or Management experience preferred; preferably in the hospitality or service industryMinimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing environmentAbility to multitask in a demanding environmentExcellent organizational and communication skillsStrong database/analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and/or database software programsIdentification that establishes identityIdentification that establishes the right to work in the United States.Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming License/registered with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
