Job Title: Google Ads Specialist Company: Navigo Marketing Location: Remote Type: Full-Time / Contract (TBD) About Navigo This is not a strategy-only role. What You'll Do • Build, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns from scratch -- Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and YouTube • Own day-to-day campaign management including bid strategy, budget pacing, audience segmentation, and A/B testing • Set up and maintain Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties, including event tracking, conversion goals, and audience definitions • Configure and troubleshoot Google Tag Manager (GTM) for accurate conversion and engagement tracking • Connect GA4 data to Google Ads for closed-loop attribution and audience remarketing • Audit and QA tracking implementations to ensure data integrity before and during campaigns • Build clear, client-ready performance reports with meaningful interpretation -- not just screenshots • Identify trends and opportunities across beauty retail, seasonality, and competitive positioning • Collaborate with content and creative teams to align ad copy and creative with platform best practices What We're Looking For • 3 years of hands-on Google Ads management experience (we will ask you to walk through your actual setup process) • Demonstrated experience in the beauty, personal care, or consumer packaged goods space -- you understand the customer, the category, and the competition • Deep proficiency in GA4, GTM, and Google Ads conversion tracking setup -- not just reading dashboards, but building them • Comfortable working inside Google Merchant Center, including feed management and troubleshooting • Strong grasp of Shopping and Performance Max campaigns, including asset group structure and feed optimization • Experience connecting paid media performance to retail or DTC commerce outcomes • Highly organized and self-directed -- this is a remote role and we expect you to own your accounts without hand-holding • Excellent written communication for client-facing reporting and internal team collaboration
