Google Ads Specialist

recruit22 is seeking a hands‐on Google Ads specialist who owns execution end‐to‐end and has proven experience repairing and scaling underperforming Google Ads accounts for local service businesses. This role is execution‐heavy and performance‐driven, measured on CPL / CPA and lead quality.

Key Responsibilities

Google Ads Execution
• Own and manage Google Ads accounts (Search‐focused)
• Daily, hands‐on optimization inside Google Ads
• Campaign, ad group, keyword, match type, and negative keyword management
• Bid strategy optimization focused on CPL / CPA
• Build, fix, and stabilize broken or inefficient accounts
• Create and iterate search ad copy based on performance

Performance & Funnel Optimization
• Ensure accurate conversion tracking and attribution
• Analyze search terms for waste and opportunity
• Identify funnel bottlenecks and optimization opportunities
• Provide landing page and offer insights to improve conversion rates
• Report in CPL, CPA, lead volume, and efficiency metrics

AI‐Enabled Optimization
• Use AI tools to accelerate:
• Keyword and search term analysis
• Ad copy testing and iteration
• Identification of inefficiencies and optimization opportunities
• Performance diagnostics and insights
• Apply AI strategically while maintaining strong fundamentals

Engagement Structure
• Week 1: Full Google Ads audit and performance assessment
• Weeks 2-3: Aggressive optimization and funnel rebuild
• Ongoing: 10-15 hours per week for continuous optimization

Required Experience
• Demonstrated hands‐on management of Google Ads accounts
• Experience with local service business lead generation
• Proven ability to turn underperforming accounts into predictable lead sources
• Strong understanding of Google Ads fundamentals (Search)
• Comfortable owning results without delegation
• Data‐driven mindset focused on CPL / CPA
