Graphic Designer ($27/h, p/t, +benefits)

Applicants must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and must have a portfolio that shows both print and digital work. Job Duties Include: \\- Working with the firm's Creative Director to produce both print and digital assets for clients as needed Typical projects include: social media graphics, posters, brochures, logo designs, mailers, newsletters, calendars, animated/.gif/static banner ads, SMS graphics, print advertisements, website design (Wix and WordPress), email blast graphics, social media videos, etc. \\- Assisting in the creation of original branding (logos, identity systems that can be applied across multiple mediums, social media guidelines) for political campaigns, non-profit organizations, public policy groups, as well as corporate entities Job Requirements: \\- 0-2 years professional experience in Graphic Design (relevant internships will be considered) \\- Associate's Degree or higher in Graphic Design (or in a related major like Advertising) \\- Should be fluent in all core Adobe Creative Cloud programs (IND, AI, PSD) \\- Should be a detailed, organized designer who is able to work both quickly and confidently \\- Should be comfortable with using workflow software (Airtable) and cloud- based filing systems (Dropbox, Drive, Creative Cloud Libraries) Bonus Points for: \\- Video editing skills (FinalCut Pro or Premiere) \\- Animation skills (Animate, After Effects) \\- Basic HTML skills \\- Prior experience on political campaigns or something parallel like working for a non-profit or a public relations firm \\- An interest in politics \\- Bilingual in Spanish This position is part time with a flexible schedule and will be done primarily remotely, although there may be some instances where in person work is required.
