Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing both digital and print collaterals including, but not limited to: social media assets, promotional collateral, packaging, web graphics and more that creatively and consistently reflect the brand identity of the company. This position will take artwork through from initial stages of developing concepts, to implementation of designs across marketing vehicles. Job Duties: • Design graphics for social media • Design product wraps, apparel, promotional items, and other physical products • Design print ads, direct mail pieces, posters, and more • Design digital assets for websites, digital advertising, and more • Design brand portfolios and sales presentations • Edit photos • Design graphics for html emails • Design graphics for in-service screens (jumbotrons) • Design graphics for use on TV commercials and other television programming • Design logos • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in design, art, interactive design or other such discipline • Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Suite programs including: lnDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator • Minimum 3-years working within a design firm or other creative team environment • Proven track-record with quality designs that have been pushed to the marketplace • Strong, conceptual thinker who possesses a wide range of design principles and production methods for digital, print, packaging, branding, typography, catalog production, and more • Advanced knowledge of contemporary media, trends, and technologies • Understand color theory and visual hierarchy • Demonstrate strong organizational skills in order to juggle multiple projects at the same time and keen attention to detail • Successfully manages time, priorities, workflow, and schedule in order to meet deadlines; able to work quickly and efficiently • Possess solid presentation, listening and communication skills with both external and internal clients • Open and receptive to design critiques, while also able to confidently and respectfully represent reasons behind design choices • Resourceful - able to problem solve and find multiple design solutions, especially under narrow parameters or strict project timelines • Self-driven, proactive, team player • HTML/CSS skills a plus, but not required Note: Applicants for this role must provide a portfolio of their work.
