Responsible for delivering sales, gross margin, operating budget, advertising budget, cost reduction, AOI, and profit goals for category(s) of responsibility; Develops and aligns the organization to a compelling Global Category Strategy; Spearheads the development of a sufficient and attractive 3-year product innovation calendar, aligning cross-functional leaders, regional partners, and the VP/GM; Develops and delivers a 1-year marketing plan; Represents the Voice of the Consumer and all that this implies relative to: Development of go-to-market strategies Cross-functional and customer communication; Develops product and consumer programs by partnering with the relevant channel, account, or regional teams; Partners with Sales & Market Research to grow category share and optimize product assortment to maximize growth and profitability for BISSELL and our retail customers: Grows unit and dollar share in total and on critical products; Delivers a global approach that balances maintaining share leadership in North America, while accelerating growth across the globe; Builds the business through the use of qualitative and quantitative market research; Leads, coaches, and manages the development of direct reports.
