To achieve this goal, the Senior Media Strategist will pursue three strategies: Flawlessly plan, manage, optimize, and report on paid social media executions Be an expert in the ways of all social media ads platforms Provide leadership and mentorship to media team members Success In This Role Means Meet or exceed client's KPIs Error-free implementation of campaign tactics and strategies Grow Helen + Gertrude revenue through establishing client, vendor, and cross-functional team trust and long-term partnerships Collaborate with Team Leads & directors to achieve functional team success ResponsibilitiesPlanning Work with cross-functional teams inclusive of creative, media and data, to develop best-in-class campaign strategies that achieve client business objectives Use native platforms and third-party research tools to develop comprehensive media plans on all major and emerging social networks Maintain knowledge of client's business, goals and KPIs Activation Work with native social ad managers and third-party media buying tools to execute paid social media campaigns Implement and manage website tracking, including site tagging and analytics Oversee campaign performance and budgets Provide continuous optimization to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of paid media campaigns Execute at any stage of the media process Maintain an understanding of program elements - can easily answer questions pertaining to status of account (stage of plan, buys, current workflows, and client billings) Analysis Develop and present client-facing performance reports, providing actionable insights to stakeholders on a scheduled or ad hoc basis Organizational Work closely with team leads & directors to train media strategists and coordinators as needed Participate in new business projects Become an expert in Helen + Gertrude offerings and core values Maintain understanding of the dynamic digital ecosystem (search, social, native, display, video) and how channels work together Provide proactive thought leadership and innovation for Helen + Gertrude and its clients Seek feedback from peers and management on ways to improve individual performance and grow overall Helen + Gertrude business Qualifications 5+ years of digital media experience; work experience in a media planning or buying position in an agency setting preferred Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables and advanced formulas) Understanding of fundamental ads metrics and media math Strong analytics, quantitative and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations Advanced experience working with digital media tools and platforms, examples include programmatic, search and native social media ad platforms (MBM, Snap Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, etc.) Physical Demands & Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
