A local non-profit is seeking a public relations and marketing coordinator with a serious interest in, and preferably experience with, the marketing and fund raising industries. The following duties are performed under close supervision. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Assists in short- and long-range strategic planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs related to development, conventions, attracting businesses and visitors, and other department functions. • Liaises and networks with businesses, agencies, the public, and other helping to promote and gain interest; participates in local community events outside of the normal line of duty in order to better understand and become integrated with the local community. • Professional appearance and grooming PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical and mental requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job: Strength, dexterity, coordination and vision to use a keyboard and personal computer for prolonged periods of time.
