It is also important for the sales manager to be a team player and help with all aspects of the hotel operations. Responsibilities 1) Analyzes current client base or target market for the hotel. 2) Devises new ways to expand that client base, 3) Develops promotional and advertising materials for the hotel. 4) Reaches out to construction companies and businesses that might require hotel for their workers to stay. Skills 1) Proven experience as Hotel Manager or relevant role 2) Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus 3) Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines 4) Working knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of hotel management software (PMS) is an advantage 5) Excellent customer service skills as well as a business mindset 6) Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving 7) Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure 8) Outstanding leadership skills and a great attention to detail 9) Degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management or relevant field
