The Housing, Foods and Ancillary Services Manager: Operates, manages, and administers housing and/or food service operations at Penn State Berks; supervises assigned staff that may include full time, part time, student and temporary employee; provides exceptional customer service through products and services; implements new policies, procedures, products and services; participates in the financial success of the operation; oversees safe preparation of products and provides a safe and secure environment for employees, students and customers; maintains inventories and facilities; coordinates the day-to-day operations of housing and food services, which includes the daily operations of residence halls, including all Housing and Food services maintenance and housekeeping staff; works with Residence Life and Police Services on issues where Housing is involved; assists with dining, coffee shop and catering operations; maintains inventory of supplies; and maintains equipment and determine servicing needs.
