Marketing & Communications ManagerReports To: Executive Director Status: Full-Time Location: TBEY Headquarters - 2266 N Prospect Avenue., Milwaukee, WI Salary Range: Shape the Creative Future of Milwaukee’s YouthTBEY Arts Center seeks a creative, strategic, and highly organized Marketing & Design Coordinator to lead all marketing, communications, recruitment, and brand visibility efforts for the organization. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive student enrollment, audience participation, awareness and community engagement across all TBEY programs, productions, and events. The Marketing & Communication Manager will lead the organization’s marketing systems from strategy to execution, including recruitment campaigns, content creation, design, website management, and social media. This position also serves as the organization’s primary communications coordinator. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both big-picture planning and day-to-day creative execution. We are currently in a growth phase focused on expanding access, strengthening enrollment, and elevating our brand presence.CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYMARKETING STRATEGY & ENROLLMENTDevelop and implement annual and seasonal marketing strategies aligned with program enrollment goals.Collaborate with program leadership to set and meet enrollment benchmarks for all programs.Create and execute recruitment campaigns for:After-school programsSummer campsPerformances & productionsWorkshops & community programsDevelop and manage an enrollment tracking system to monitor participation and registration trends.Coordinate outreach strategies with program staff and community partners.Manage and track paid advertising budgets and campaign performance.BRAND MANAGEMENT & VISIBILITYServe as steward of the TBEY brand across all platforms.Ensure consistent brand identity across print, digital, and social media.Elevate TBEY’s public presence and storytelling.Develop monthly marketing calendars aligned with organizational priorities.Increase organizational visibility across MilwaukeeGRAPHIC DESIGN, CONTENT CREATION & COLLATERALDesign flyers, posters, brochures, signage, and digital assets.Create templates for internal and external communications.Support marketing for performances, exhibitions, and events.Produce recruitment materials for all programs, events and projects.Produce social media graphics and video contentMaintain organized photo and video archivesSOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT CREATIONManage all social media platforms.Create and schedule weekly content (posts, reels, stories).Develop monthly content plans.Capture photo and video content at programs and events.Share student stories and program highlights.Track analytics and engagement metrics.WEBSITE & DIGITAL MANAGEMENTManage and update the TBEY website (WordPress). Maintain accurate program information and registration links.Upload photos, announcements, and updates.Improve user experience and accessibility.COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATIONServe as internal communications lead.Draft and design email campaigns and announcements.Coordinate messaging across departments.Support donor and partner communications visually.EVENTS & PRODUCTIONSAttend major programs, events, and performances.Create marketing plans for productions and showcases.Design program booklets, signage, and promotional materials.Document events through photo and video.INTERNAL COLLABORATIONLead monthly marketing and planning meetings.Manage shared design request systems.Maintain photo/video archives.Support special campaigns and initiatives.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.2+ years in marketing, design, or communications.Strong graphic design skills.Social media management experience.Photography/video editing experience.Website management experience. (WordPress preferred)Strong writing skills.Ability to manage multiple deadlines.Passion for youth arts and community impact.PREFERREDNonprofit or arts experience.Experience with enrollment campaigns.Knowledge of Milwaukee community networks.
