Junior Ad Designer

Ad Designer reports to the Ad Designer and will design & animate custom, rich media, mobile ad experiences for Kargo's advertisers. The Daily To-Do • Design & animate visually stunning and cutting-edge mobile advertising experiences for Kargo’s advertising campaigns • Work with Rich Media authoring tools to produce standards-compliant interactive ads • Employ a user-centered design to create intuitive design solutions • Collaborate with Client Service Managers through internal brainstorms & discussions to bring big ideas to life on the mobile screen • Develop an understanding of responsive design across mobile devices • Collaborate and review with design team to refine user interfaces for enhancing user experience • Adhere to Kargo's ad unit best practice standards in all campaign output • Proactively develop ongoing knowledge base of new technologies and products and identify needs and opportunities for additional advertising products • Contribute to product ideation with mocks & prototypes of innovative ideas • Design & execute pre-sale ad campaign mocks Qualifications • Portfolio featuring past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions • Excellent visual design talent, with a pixel-level eye for detail • Understanding of designing intuitive user interfaces • Ability to manage work autonomously, multi-task, and meet fast-evolving deadlines with a curiosity and passion for building rich, new ad experiences • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; the ability to explain your design decisions clearly and persuasively • Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator • Get it done attitude without compromising quality • Familiarity with mobile advertising, mobile UI and UX design • Animation experience is a plus • Experience using Celtra Ad Builder is a plus
