Coffee News South Alabama is looking for an outgoing, self-motivated Advertising Sales Representative to help local businesses promote themselves in our weekly Coffee News publications. This is a 1099 independent contractor sales position with a flexible schedule and recurring commission on advertising accounts you sell. Identify and contact local businesses that would be a good fit for Coffee News Meet or speak with business owners and decision-makers Explain Coffee News advertising options and benefits Follow up with prospects and close new advertising accounts Build relationships with advertisers and local business owners Develop your own book of recurring advertising accounts Flexible schedule Work locally throughout Baldwin County No required office hours No startup costs or investment Established product and existing distribution network Recurring commission opportunity Training and sales materials provided Opportunity to build long-term relationships with local businesses Enjoy meeting and talking with business owners Are comfortable prospecting and following up Are self-motivated and able to manage your own schedule Have strong communication and relationship-building skills Are involved in or familiar with the local business community Have sales, networking, business ownership, real estate, media, or advertising experience
