Looking for GRAPHIC DESIGNER Guru Extraordinaire

Who are we and what are we looking for? We are Oak Hill Brands, a small company located in Lombard, that owns a few B2B and B2C brands with a specialization in assistive technology. This is an opportunity to grow and learn outside of graphic design into marketing in addition to seeing the fruits of your labor take our company to the next level. While graphic design will be the focus, we’re looking for candidates that are able and comfortable with contributing to areas outside of their expertise, such as marketing strategies, product development, helping at Assistive Technology trade shows, and getting our engineer to understand that the Terminator would totally beat Rambo in a fight. **Job Duties (AKA what we could think of off the top of our heads that we need help with):** * Create an overall design/marketing strategy and campaign that best fits our company and our customers - and be able to execute it * Catalog and brochure design * Graphic / Illustration design * Website design / update * Manage social media platforms * Create / edit videos * Email blasts / marketing * Be awesome (well, we don’t need help with this one) * Light travel attending trade shows * Work with potential licensing partners **Requirements (They’re more like guidelines anyway):** * Graphic design degree and/or a pretty convincing argument demonstrating your skills Advanced knowledge of Adobe suite of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is greatly, greatly preferred * Website design knowledge using Wordpress (preferred) and/or similar website designers * Knowledge of social media platforms * Willingness to learn new processes * Ability to adapt quickly to ever changing timelines **Bonus Points: (thankfully, we don’t expect you to fulfill all or even most of these)** * Experience with NetSuite * Experience with Magento * Experience with e-commerce platforms that are better than Magento * Experience with (the seller side of) Amazon * Experience with the disability community * Experience with photography and videography * Willingness to participate in marketing and product use videos * Coding / programming experience, particularly in software development * Marketing / sales experience * Being funny * Fan of the Oxford comma This is a full time on-site position.
