All new Regional Directors receive extensive classroom and field training to ensure product expertise and industry knowledge needed to build market credibility, represent the brand with pride, and achieve long-term career success.ResponsibilitiesAttract, hire, motivate, and develop high-performing sales professionals capable of meeting or exceeding defined sales quotasSpend 3–4 days per week in the field on sales calls, providing coaching and training to enhance team effectivenessDrive regional and team revenue growth, consistently meeting or surpassing annual sales targetsLead efforts to identify, prioritize, and secure new client relationships while retaining and expanding existing accountsBuild strong familiarity with all major market playersMonitor sales performance and hold team members accountable for activity and client engagementActively manage weekly team activities, including attendance at CoStar offices, coaching sessions, and timely use of Enterprise CRM systems to track sales activity, pipeline development, and account assignmentsSet individual and team performance goals aligned with broader business objectives; address performance issues promptlyMentor and develop all team members to support their professional growthPromote and reinforce CoStar Group’s culture and values across the teamTravel to regional offices is required—up to 50%Please note, this role is based out of offices in Detroit, Cincinnati or Pittsburgh.Basic Qualifications5+ years of experience directly managing 5–10 sales professionals within Commercial Real Estate, Digital Advertising / Marketing, or adjacent transactional sales; including ability to attract, hire, train and develop a high performing sales teamExperience leading sales efforts in a highly transactional, consultative, fast-paced organization with a short cycle-time modelExperience managing a book of business with annual revenue over $1 millionBachelor’s degree from an accredited universityDemonstrated commitment to prior employersCurrent and valid driver’s license; satisfactory driving record check prior to startInternal applicants should have 5+ years of sales experience with at least 18 months at a CoStar Sales Executive level or higher while meeting / exceeding sales targetsPreferred Qualifications & SkillsAbility to build long-term relationships and partnerships with clients at all levelsProven track record of growing a sales territory through new client acquisition and existing account growthStrong internal and external relationship-building skillsAbility to retain top sales producers and manage performance of non-producersAbility to travel 25–30%Flexibility to adapt to a high-growth environmentWhy LoopNet and CoStar Group?Join a collaborative and innovative culture with opportunities for professional and academic growth, generous compensation, and performance-based incentives.
