Manager, New Product Development

Do you have Project Management experience? This person will lead assigned New Product Development (NPD) programs from initial opportunity assessment through to field availability and post launch performance review following the defined ‘Gate’ and ‘Phase’ processes associated with Timpte’s Project Development Program (PDP). Must possess the ability to promote a positive and collaborative cross- functional team that maintains a sense of urgency while objectively evaluating all project risks and driving the team towards clearly defined and mutually agreed upon business objectives.  New Product Engineering – updated BOM, BOM audits (virtual & physical)  Cost Accounting – Price & Cost Targets  Sales & Marketing – sales distribution strategy, advertising & promotion plans for product launch  Aftermarket Parts & Service – inventory management, parts disposition Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in in a technical field and/or Marketing with 5+ years of related project management experience. • Advanced project training/certification, such as PMI, preferred • Exceptional cross-functional perspective including engineering, sales, marketing, procurement, manufacturing, and aftermarket parts & service • Strong process orientation with flexibility to function effectively where processes do not exist • Ability to create and support innovative approaches to NPD programs and PDP processes • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously • Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization, both verbal and written • Requires ability to perform work independently with good planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
