About the Role In this role, you won't just be driving strategy-you'll be leading a team. You'll be expected to bring clarity to complexity, inspire your team, and influence senior stakeholders across regions and functions. What You'll Do: • Lead and Develop a Team: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of strategists/operators, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and collaboration • Shape Global Strategy: Define and lead business strategies that accelerate growth for Uber's Delivery Ads business, working closely with Product, Regional Ops, PMM, Sales, and Data Science • Be a Thought Partner: Serve as a trusted advisor to Ads leadership and cross-functional executives, using structured thinking and data-driven insights to inform long-term strategy and near-term priorities • Drive Advertiser Success: Identify opportunities to scale product adoption and advertiser ROI across segments (Enterprise, SMB) and regions by operationalizing GTM plays, incentives, measurement strategies, and enablement • Operational Excellence: Build strategic frameworks and performance management tools to evaluate success, ensure accountability, and guide resourcing decisions • Advocate for Merchants: Represent advertiser and merchant needs by synthesizing market trends, competitive signals, and customer insights to influence product and business roadmaps • Scale What Works: Design repeatable global processes and toolkits that accelerate knowledge sharing and unlock growth at scale Basic Qualifications: • 5+ years' experience in Advertising, Strategy & Ops, Growth Marketing, GTM, Technology Operations or related fields • 1+ year in a manager role, leading direct reports • Proven track record of owning and delivering complex, cross-functional projects or programs with high business impact • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels • Bachelor's degree
