Marketing Account Executive

Trefoil Group This Account Executive position is a marketing and communications role — not a sales position. The Marketing Account Executive plays an important role in executing integrated marketing communications programs for a business-to-business client base. Key Responsibilities • Execute integrated marketing communications programs for assigned accounts, producing content across multiple channels including public relations, digital, social media, websites, and more • Ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with audience needs and channel best practices • Coordinate client marketing initiatives across digital and creative teams, ensuring clarity around goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables • Participate in all stages of project development, including setup, research, strategy, design, campaign development, and reporting • Support Account Manager(s) and agency leaders by anticipating account needs and executing assigned responsibilities effectively • Develop a strong understanding of client brands, industries, and programs to ensure thoughtful, strategic execution • Utilize project management tools and agency processes to deliver high-quality, error-free work on time and within budget • Stay current on marketing trends, technologies, and best practices • Participate in client meetings, prepare recaps, and provide regular status updates • Contribute to new business efforts as needed Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) • 2+ years of related marketing experience • B2B and/or agency experience strongly preferred • Strong writing skills with required writing samples • Demonstrated commitment to client and team success with a proactive, collaborative mindset • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality and accuracy • Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams and stakeholders • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with confidence communicating with team members and leadership • Active listening skills and the ability to ask thoughtful, clarifying questions • Professionalism and adaptability in fast-paced environments • Self-directed, goal-oriented, flexible, and enthusiastic about continuous learning • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office • Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and performance while maintaining integrity
