Marketing and Advertising Specialist

Working as the primary liaison with VIA’s external advertising and marketing agency ensures that the agency delivers strategic, measurable and high-quality marketing programs that attract riders and enhance VIA’s reputation as the region’s leading transportation provider. Collaborates with other VIA departments and divisions to develop marketing and advertising programs. Liaises with external vendors or sponsor partners to execute promotional events and campaigns Assists in planning and executing initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.) REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field and a minimum of three years’ experience in the development and execution of promotional and/or advertising campaigns. Must supervise promotional and/or advertising campaigns executed by advertising agency.
