CESOSS is looking for a qualified work-study student who can assist in all aspects of Communications & Marketing, including material distribution, creating, editing, and publishing our newsletter, creating and disseminating event information, managing our database, and coordinating marketing events. Good communication skills to generate stories of interest to the community of the South ValleyResearching information for features and articlesVerifying information and interviewing sourcesWriting, editing, proofreading, and subbing textAttending relevant events, fairs, and conferencesCreating and maintaining a network of contactsMeeting and liaising with other staff including the Executive Director, Board of Directors, Advisors, and the coordinatorsStaying up-to-date with privacy, defamation, and contempt lawComplying with industry and ethical guidelinesMay work remotely.
