Marketing and Engagement Strategist

Works closely with Marketing & Engagement Director in the areas of communications strategy, messaging execution, campaign development, and communications policy development. Assists in the development of the Marketing & Engagement Department budget. Serve as social media liaison to City partner organizations Create original graphic design materials for print or digital platforms as needed Create original videos including scripts and graphics as needed for web and social media Photograph City events as needed. Serve in a supportive capacity to Marketing & Engagement Director and as a secondary point of contact for the department. At least 6 years of progressively responsible experience in communications, journalism, media or public relations - this would include website and social media content development, communications and public relations experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
