Marketing and Management Intern - Client Aquisition Specialist

The Sales and Business Development Department is responsible for driving company growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and acquiring new clients. Key Responsibilities • Identify and research potential client businesses • Conduct outreach via email, phone, and in-person meetings • Build and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities • Schedule and participate in discovery calls and client meetings • Present Internera’s services clearly and professionally • Follow up consistently to move leads through the sales process • Track outreach, conversations, and results in an organized system • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure strong client fit and onboarding • Assist in refining sales strategies and outreach systems • Maintain professional communication and represent Internera positively Required: • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sales, Entrepreneurship, or a related field • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with business owners • Interest in sales, business development, and client relationships • Comfortable with outreach and engaging new people • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and leads • Professional, reliable, and able to represent the company positively Knowledge: • Basic sales and business development concepts (lead generation, outreach, closing) • Understanding of small business operations and challenges • Awareness of CRM systems and pipeline management • Professional communication standards We’re looking for someone who is driven, coachable, and eager to gain real-world experience in sales and business development.
