Marketing Assistant (Content & Social Media)

RAW Detroit is looking for a Marketing Assistant to support our team with content creation, social media, and day-to-day marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the city, creating content, and understanding what performs on social media. Capture photo and video content on-site (events, social clips, local businesses)Edit social content including reels, short-form videos, and carouselsAssist with social media strategy and content planningProvide light email and marketing supportWhat we’re looking for: Based in Metro Detroit and able to travel locallyStrong understanding of social media (especially Instagram)Understands what makes content perform (hooks, pacing, storytelling, social psychology)Experience with video editing (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)Comfortable capturing content on-site (camera or phone)Organized, responsive, and able to move quickly while maintaining qualityAvailable on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and occasional weekendsPreferred (Not Required): This role offers hands-on experience working directly with the owners of a fast-moving media company.
