You will have the overall responsibility for all the events, mailings, newsletters, media, PR, and sponsorships and insure they are in alignment with the area’s strategy.Skills and attributes for successAbility to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal project stakeholders, manage project stakeholders’ expectations and build trust with journalists and other media outletsAdept at creating strategic, targeted and impactful go-to-market initiativesPossess relevant market insight respective to your function and a comfort level working across service lines, industries, function areas and client groupsStrong understanding of environmental factors affecting the firm, the practice and our marketsAbility to participate in market research projectsAdept at coordinating the creation of area marketing collateral and brochures to make certain they are appropriately leveraged and deliveredTo qualify for the role, you must haveSeven-plus years of experienceBachelor’s degree with a marketing or communications major or equivalent experience; MBA is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentations) as well as listening and interpretation skillsMust be able to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise and easily digestible manner for broad audiencesPossesses poise and confidence to professionally interact with all levels of leadershipAbility to oversee significant portions of major or highly complex projectsIdeally, you’ll also haveAbility to team and collaborate with practice, industry and other firm leaders to develop market-facing initiatives that drive the firm’s strategyAbility to work independently on marketing initiativesDemonstrated teamwork and leadership skills including the development of othersAbility to work with anchor service line or industry representative to tailor directed thought leadership and serve as a coordinator for its productionWhat we look forWe’re looking for individuals who have strong business acumen and personal leadership. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $180,100.
