Job Description of a Marketing Assistant (Digital Marketing) Specialist: The Marketing Assistant (Digital Marketing) Specialist role is to design, create, and deliver marketing programs to support expansion and growth for Universal Benefits Marketing Firm, Inc. Proficiency in graphics, web advertising, social media, and web development is a must. Job Responsibilities: • Provide support to the Marketing Department • Execute marketing strategies for company visibility and growth • Develop and execute marketing campaigns • Maintain schedules for marketing initiatives • Assist with social media and website content • Coordinate with sales team to create marketing campaigns • Monitor key online marketing material to track success • Ensure the brand message is consistent • Developing, managing and designing layouts of communications such as presentations, flyers, and brochures • Creating and designing PowerPoint presentations Qualifications/Skills: • Proven success as a Marketing Specialist with a complete portfolio • Strong written and verbal communications skills • High level of organization and attention to detail • Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment • Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts • Excellent time management skills • Great outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities • Ability to spot emerging trends • Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing and search engines • Demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills • Strong writing and copy editing abilities Education and Experience Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field a plus • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word) • Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest) • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud(Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere) a plus • Digital photography and video editing experience a plus Benefits Offered: • Major Medical Benefits Package • Relocation Reimbursement • Great work environment • Salary based on experience • Excellent Starting Salary • Full-time employment from comfortable office setting • 401K Universal Benefits is a 40 year old Marketing Firm in Sumter, SC with over 1500 life agents.
