We are looking for a Marketing Client Services Manager who is ready to join our fast-paced, 6-person fractional marketing firm. We aren’t a digital-only agency, nor do we focus only on social media; we operate as high-performing marketing experts within the companies we partner with and are looking for someone to help us continue operating at this level.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

The Client Services Manager serves as a strategic liaison and relationship manager, ensuring our fractional marketing services seamlessly integrate with our clients' operations. This role is essential in executing and delivering the comprehensive marketing and advertising leadership experiences and efforts that our clients expect from our company.

You'll be responsible for proactively managing existing client relationships, leading and supporting regular client meetings, coordinating cross-functional deliverables within our team, directly executing related client tasks, and ensuring our diverse team of marketing and advertising specialists works cohesively to drive client revenue growth. This position requires someone who is curious and determined, not afraid to get their hands dirty with the rest of us, supportive yet independent, marketing-savvy and human-centric, who can think strategically while executing tactically; embodying our philosophy of being both thinkers and doers.

Key Responsibilities

● Serve as the primary point of contact (Client Lead) for assigned clients, acting as their dedicated fractional marketing team liaison, while backed by another member of our team. You will also assist other Client Leads, acting as their supporting team member, as assigned.

● Facilitate and attend regular client and internal meetings, preparing meeting agendas, capturing high-level notes via AI and/or manual note-taking

● Monitor and report on overall strategy performance from tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Meta Business Suite to show clients the real-world ROI of our efforts

● Identify opportunities for client revenue growth and operational efficiency improvements

● Analyze and identify potential marketing and advertising issues and proactively work to solve them

● Keep our CRM and project management tools organized so no detail ever falls through the cracks.

● Coordinate marketing and advertising deliverables across our team of specialists and outside vendors

● Directly execute related tasks based on marketing and advertising deliverables for clients and our company

● Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure a seamless client experience

● Develop and execute strategic content plans for assigned clients, including copywriting and posting of case studies, blog posts, etc

● Adapt strategic goals based on client feedback and market trends

● Ensure all work reflects the high-caliber execution our clients expect

● Maintain strong client relationships to ensure trust, satisfaction, and retention

● Identify opportunities to expand our partnerships and services within existing client relationships

● Represent Wabash & Lake's brand promise and reputation as a caring and trusted, long-term fractional marketing partner

● Support business development efforts and new client onboarding execution

Required Skills & Experience

Core Competencies

● Strategic Communication: Ability to listen and lead clients with an awareness to adapt communication styles to match the culture of the clients we work with, from the executive level to single-owner small businesses

● Multi-disciplinary Marketing and Advertising Knowledge: Understanding and continuing confidence in adapting and learning about both digital and traditional marketing and advertising channels, including event and cause-based marketing, foundational SEO and blog writing strategies, outbound messaging, marketing workflows, etc. Fear of learning will be identified quickly.

● Multi-Client Project Management Excellence: Proven ability to coordinate complex, multi-faceted marketing initiatives across multiple clients is mandatory.

● Revenue-Focused Mindset: Experience translating and connecting marketing activities to business growth and ROI

● Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively with diverse businesses and nonprofits along with our team of specialists while maintaining client focus

Demonstrated Technical Requirements

● Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)

● Proficiency in Google Analytics, META business suite, and overall KPI analysis and reporting experience

● Proficiency in WordPress/website editing related to image updates, copy updates, blog posting, meta tags, and related “foundation” SEO practices

● Experience with marketing workflow automation platforms such as HubSpot, Active Campaign, etc

● Experience with marketing software and tools such as Constant Contact, WordPress, Canva, Apollo.io, etc.

● Strong communication, presentation creation and meeting facilitation skills, especially as related to owner/C-suite relationships

Preferred Additional Skills

● Copywriting and content creation abilities

● Design software competency - know how only as execution is covered by our in-house Creative Team

● Website management and basic editing competency

● Business development and consultative experience

Experience Requirements

● Previous experience in a marketing or advertising agency, in a marketing department, or in a B2B marketing consulting environment

● Background in client account management or marketing coordination

● Demonstrated success managing multiple client relationships simultaneously

● Experience working with C-level executives, small business owners, and decision-makers

● Track record of contributing to client retention and revenue growth

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
