Marketing Communication Consultant/Account Executive

This position is ideal for an individual who embodies a diverse skill set, including strong oral and written skills to help manage, grow and renew agency accounts, as well as create, track and manage multiple projects through the entire creative life cycle for our high-profile clients. Key Responsibilities: • Formulate marketing strategies and creative ideas, including writing, editing and proofreading text for client projects (emails, flyers, presentations, brochures, letters, video scripts/storyboards) in a heavily regulated environment and apply learnings from each project to future projects • Serve as LyonShare Marketing liaison to develop and maintain successful professional relationships with clients and vendors (via phone, email, in- person meetings, and text messaging) to ensure communication flows effectively • Develop meeting agendas, proposals/estimates and pitch presentations • Oversee full life cycle of multiple projects simultaneously, including delegating work to other members of the agency team (writers, designers, photographers, printers), prioritizing tasks, managing changing priorities, meeting deadlines, and managing project costs • Participate in weekly agency traffic meetings to strategize and brainstorm with internal team • Travel to and participate in meetings at client and prospect offices, when requested, and perform follow-up tasks • Event planning and coordination for clients, as needed • Retain team-player mentality with willingness to engage in other agency tasks outside scope of role to best meet the needs of clients in a small- business environment (i.e., hand work/collation on custom specialty projects and direct mailings, answer office phone & direct calls when needed, travel to print vendors, deliver client materials, assist on colleague projects) Skills/Attributes for Success: • Professional writing, editing and proofreading skills • Engaging, goal-oriented, high-energy professional with the drive to succeed and a passion to get the job done right the first time • Work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced agency environment • Ability to organize and prioritize work while quickly adapting to changing client needs by juggling several projects at once to meet tight deadlines • Strong project management skills are required to ensure all projects are delivered on time and ensure all stakeholders receive project updates as warranted • Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to establish effective relationships with coworkers and client contacts • Self-motivated, super- organized individual with integrity, a strong work ethic, and positive attitude • Ability to think strategically and critically and quickly learn new processes, approaches and techniques Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field from a four-year college/university • 1-5 years of experience with an advertising agency or corporate marketing/communications department, preferably in copywriting, account management or project management functions, or equivalent experience • Highly-proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including social media writing expertise, with high attention to detail (NOTE: Send writing samples along with resume.
