The Marketing and Communications Specialist works closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications, and maintains a productive working relationship with the business development and donor development teams. • Assist with planning and implementation of facility education, informational, social and special events such as public celebrations, celebrity • and VIP visits and others as requested. Experience: • 1 or more years of marketing, communications and public relations experience required • Writing and editing experience required • Experience writing and editing for social media channels required • Experience with Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign required • MS Office Suite proficiency required • Media monitoring platform, Hootsuite, website Content Management Systems exposure required • Media relations experience required • Ability to manage multiple projects required • Bilingual language skills preferred Education: • Bachelors degree in Marketing/Communications, Public Relations or Journalism required
