Marketing & Communications Manager

The Maine Historical Society (MHS) is seeking a full-time Marketing & Communications Manager to help drive efforts to expand MHS’s audience and impact, and to bring its recently developed Audience Engagement Plan to life. Works closely with Digital Projects & Technology Manager and the Director of Audience Engagement to ensure website engagement and compelling, navigable, and up to date content. · Four (4) years of professional experience in communications, marketing, or related field. This is a full-time position scheduled at a minimum of 35 hours per week. Founded in 1822, two years after Maine became a state, MHS is a premier cultural institution committed to promoting research, scholarship, and audience engagement with the history of what it today the state of Maine.
