MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

The Marketing Communications Manager plays a critical role engaging and promoting the value of our experience and authority in our space. This individual is an experienced influencer who understands the power and value of quality engagement. * Work closely with Marketing Director to establish marketing communication strategies to attract customers and increase market share in alignment with corporate objectives * Execute on outbound and partner campaign strategy, including developing and managing email and social campaign calendar and project schedules, setting cadence, crafting personalized and compelling written and visual messaging, and setting and measuring to key performance indicators (KPIs) * Oversee market data and analysis for ongoing and consistent evaluation and recommendations for effective communications within marketing and across customer-facing department activities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams from brand and creative, product, and sales to produce effective sales and promotional materials * Contribute to brand awareness and thought leadership objectives by identifying efficient and innovative ways to distribute Lcom branded content including across social channels * Liaise with Product Marketing to communicate product news and updates to our customer base, agency partners, media, and prospects * Work closely with Sales in developing effective communications and campaigns for territory and portfolio plans * Prepare corporate press and news releases and manage syndication * Coordinate with and manage agency and edtrade partners including monitoring performance of paid media and share of voice * Partner with Customer Success and Sales to tell the Lcom story through the lens of successful implementations and partnerships extending to engagement with end-users and enterprise level contacts * Communicate and inform stakeholders at all organizational levels of marketing plans and activities, including monitoring and routinely reporting on campaign performance * Manage cadence and messaging of email nurture campaigns utilizing marketing automation best practices * Develop a deep understanding of our target audiences and their behaviors'and disseminate findings to increase impact across organization * Play an active role on a creative, ambitious, and collaborative team and a strategic contributor for Learning.com * Other duties as assigned * 3+ years of experience developing and executing on modern marketing strategy for B2B markets, edtech; case study and samples will be requested * K-12 market ideally * A degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations, or comparable a plus * Exemplary writer, copyeditor, and communicator across all digital and traditional platforms; writing samples will be requested * Skilled at clearly conveying concepts to creative and production teams, as well as agency partners and stakeholders * Prolific consumer of all things marketing strategy with ability to analyze marketing trends * Ability to integrate and drive projects across an extended organization * Decisive and able to adapt to frequently changing priorities * Excellent project planning and management skills, including problem-solving, collaboration, conflict resolution, and negotiation * Ability to forge relationships with agency and other professional partners * Working knowledge of design principles and applications including Adobe Creative Suite * Expert knowledge of latest digital and marketing automation tools, including HubSpot, MS Office Suite, Salesforce, project management, and collaboration tools * Ability to thrive both in interdependent and autonomous environments * Strategic mindset, innovative thinker, and constant learner * Must be able to travel up to 3 times per year
