What You'll Do • Brand-building: Work closely with our leadership to shape and maintain a compelling company narrative that articulates our mission, technology and impact • Talent-oriented campaigns: Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with Vannevar Labs' business objectives, including media relations, think tank engagement, public affairs, and internal communications • Content creation and distribution: Co-create high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content for external communications, including press releases, blogs, newsletters, and social media, with the media agency, design team, and executive team • Stakeholder engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media, analysts, and external stakeholders to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation, as well as manage our external vendor relationships related to communications • Performance: Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication and marketing strategies What we look for • 4+ years in communications and marketing, with experience with talent marketing • Demonstrated interest for the defense, technology, or startup sectors • Strong, speedy written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messages • Reps in building teams that produce high-impact communications and campaigns • Proactive ownership mindset with proven track record of “getting things done” • Grit and creativity when faced with a roadblock We’re proud to offer competitive benefits that support our employees.
